1200 glasses of nutritious milk timely supported for pediatric patients

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Officer of Social Work Department, National Hospital of Acupuncture shared: "The financial condition of pediatric patients’ families is already difficult and now they are stuck at the hospital for a long time. At midday it makes me really sad to see the mother and her child sharing a meal with only peanuts and white rice."

With the hope that no one is left behind, on July 14th and July 19th, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) quickly and promptly supported 1200 glasses of milk for 48 pediatric patients at Hospital E and 102 pediatric patients at the National Hospital of Acupuncture. All costs of this activity are deducted from the profits of the online charity fair on VSF’s Fanpage and the philanthropists’ support through Global Giving.

In order to ensure the safety of pediatric patients in the complicated situation of COVID-19, VSF was supported by the staff of the Social Work Department at the two hospitals to deliver glasses of milk to children and their care-givers. Seeing the happy faces of these children when receiving small gifts, we have more motivation on the journey of giving love to children in particular and the community in general.
