150 million VND sponsored for gratitude activities on July 27

On July 17th, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation donated 150 million VND for 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27), including scholarships for poor students and support for impoverished households in Nghe An.

On July 17, Ms. Vu Thu Hang, Director of Communications at BAC A BANK, representing the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, awarded 50 scholarships worth a total of 50 million VND to 50 underprivileged students in Nghe An. Of this amount, 30 million VND was allocated to Nghi Loc district and 20 million VND to Anh Son district.

In Phuc Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province, Ms. Vu Thu Hang also presented 100 million VND to the Phuc Son Border Guard Station to purchase eight cows for eight poor households.

This activity, in response to the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27), is part of the "Light Up the Flame of Gratitude" program in collaboration with the Vietnam Journalists Association. The program includes practical gratitude and support activities as a tribute and encouragement to the relatives of martyrs, journalist soldiers, and families of those who have contributed to overcoming disabilities and hardships, continuing to dedicate their efforts, intellect, and talents in labor, production, and study.

Sponsoring gratitude activities is one of VFS's notable annual events on War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, aimed at expressing deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for the nation's independence and freedom and for the noble cause of the international revolution.
