Recently, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) sponsored the entire treatment costs for 5 pediatric patients with mobility disabilities at the National Hospital of Acupuncture. The total support for the 5 children amounts to 50 million VND (10 million VND per child).
The children receiving this support are aged between 5-12 years old and come from disadvantaged families in Hanoi City, Nam Dinh, and Dien Bien provinces. They have endured severe physical and mental injuries and require major surgeries for recovery. However, their families face dire financial circumstances, with some children only having one parent to care for them.
These are the first cases to benefit from the mobility disability treatment fund, reciprocated by VSF through the S-Race 2024, which took place in Thua Thien Hue in March 2024. As the exclusive volunteer partner of the race, VSF matched 5,000 VND for each athlete who participated directly. With 13,328 athletes, a total of 66,640,000 VND was contributed to the motor disability treatment fund.
VSF will continue to collaborate with the National Hospital of Acupuncture to sponsor pediatric patients in difficult circumstances. Information about the sponsored cases will be continuously updated on VSF's media channels.
Additionally, S-Race athletes nationwide can continue to raise an additional 200 VND per kilometer by participating in the online running events S-Race Family Online and S-Race School Online. All of this money will be matched by the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation. Through these meaningful activities, S-Race aims to spread humanistic values, educate the spirit of sharing among students, and inspire a positive lifestyle within the community.
