For Vietnamese Stature Foundation giving gifts of Global Giving to poor households in Muong Lat, Thanh Hoa

The family is categorized as a poor household of Muong Lat district. Both of them are illiterate, therefore they have to work hard daily to survive. Living with the unstable income, Mr. Quy has also suffered from liver cancer, his health is on the road of decline. His wife has to collect iron scraps daily to support the family and her husband's treatment. During the flood in August , the landslide destroyed half of their temporary house. The flood has passed for several months but they have yet to repair it due to their difficult financial condition.

Through the Today Rural Newspaper, VSF has contacted Muong Lat Farmers Association and learned about the family conditions. VSF has granted 5.790.000 VND from donors across the world through Global Giving to help them overcome their hardship and stabilize their lives.  

The fund has been hand-delivered to the family 

Formerly, Global Giving has contacted and entrusted VSF to grant this to the people of Muong Lat district, Thanh Hoa after they have received enough donations.

Being a Global Giving member, VSF has been continuing to raise funds for practical projects for women and young people on Global Giving website. The effectiveness of the projects is the reason that Global Giving trusts and gives responsibility to VSF for volunteer activities in Vietnam.

This trust from Global Giving is the motivation for VSF to carry out more community activities and become a reputable Foundation in the international community.
