NEWSLETTER FOR THE VIETNAMESE STATURE JULY/2026

In June 2026,  For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in collaboration with Nghe An Department of Education and Training held the groundbreaking ceremony for 48 school restrooms at 16 schools across Nghe An province. These are the first restrooms to be implemented under the two parties’ agreement to build and renovate 300 schools restrooms over 3 years, with a total budget of VND 18 billion, as a part of the 1,000 School restroom project. 

The Institute of Strategy and Policy on Agriculture and Environment (ISPAE), Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, Retailers Alliance for Reducing single - use Plastics Bags, VSF and partner organizations jointly launched the “No plastic bag Day in Vietnam 2026” campaign. The campaign will last for 1 week, from 29th June to 5th July 2026, promoting the reduction of single-use plastic bag use and encouraging the adoption of more sustainable consumption habits. 

Meanwhile, activities for children and students were actively carried out through the Scarlet Sails project and Dynagen Initiative. At the same time, No voice - No equal future project successfully completed Phase 2 and commenced the disbursement of interest-free loans under Phase 3 to support 15 disadvantaged women in Dien Bien province. 

VSF also conducted the field trip for the upcoming implementation of the Happy School project and other school facilities for the new academic year; the VSF’s treatment support fund for pediatric patients with mobility disabilities also received more than VND 458 million from Race to Raise and S-Race Family Online 2026.

Free reproductive health check-up and consultation activities under For Mother and Babies - For Vietnamese stature project; heart surgery support, the  handover of school facilities, and many other meaningful activities were also carried out in June.
