Newsletter of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation - 1st Quarter of 2021

From the beginning of 2021, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has received good news from the international community when VSF officially became the only representative of Vietnam to receive funding from  Asian Gender Trainers' Network Program 2021 with the initiative "Gender - Gender Equality with Young Reporters". VSF's young generation-targeted projects have been promoting our effectiveness and affirming our prestige when we always have the companionship and sponsorship from international organizations.

In the first days of the new year 2021, VSF received 165 million VND from domestic individual donors for community activities. In addition, fundraising projects on Global Giving received more than 2,400 USD from international individual donors, of which, 11 donations came from DECKERS company (whose headquarters is in The US) for the project "Giving milk to poor children with critical illness". The support of national and international individual donors have been becoming the main resource for a great number of VSF’s projects - we are very proud and grateful to these meaningful contributions.

In the launching ceremony of the program "Wishes for children" organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and project “Vietnamese Digitized Knowledge System”, VSF signed an agreement to implement 1,000 constructions of "Toilets for children" worth 60 billion VND for students in difficult areas in 10 years from 2021 to 2030. This is another project collaborated by VSF, BAC A BANK and TH Group to introduce, spread and mobilize resources to support the development of education in difficult remote areas and ethnic minorities.

A new school site in Ban Chang, Vi Xuyen, Ha Giang was built by VSF in January with the participation of BAC A BANK volunteers. At the same time, activities to repair schools, clinics, and rebuild people's lives in the Central region after the flood are also about to be completed in the program “Overcoming floods with the Central Region - A mission from the heart”.

The project "Youth for Environment" is implementing the last activities before the end of the first year. At the same time, "DynaGen Initiative II" continuously conducts talk shows, training and career coaching activities. Two community initiatives have also been implemented effectively by DynaGen students.
