Over VND 400 million successfully raised to build a semi-boarding kitchen for 345 ethnic minority students in Nghe An

For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is pleased to announce that the fundraising campaign to build a semi-boarding kitchen for students at My Ly 1 Semi-Boarding Primary School for Ethnic Minority Students (My Ly Commune, Nghe An Province) has successfully reached its goal 20 days ahead of schedule.

Thanks to contributions from the profits of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival bakery sales campaign, the joint efforts of 115 parents from the TH School system, and individual donors, the project raised a total of VND 401,350,000, reaching 100.3% of the initial target.

VSF is currently working closely with the school and local authorities to begin construction as soon as possible. According to the plan, the construction is expected to be completed within two months.

The semi-boarding kitchen construction is part of Phase 2 of the Facility Upgrading Project at My Ly 1 Semi-Boarding Primary School for Ethnic Minority Students, a project that also marks the 10th anniversary of VSF’s establishment and development. Previously, in October, VSF inaugurated a two-storey dormitory building worth VND 2.1 billion at the school, providing a safe and integrated living space for 209 boarding students.
