School Tour 2025 “Green sprouts to school” officially kicks off at Giang Bien Secondary School

At the event, students of Giang Bien Secondary School listened to inspiring sharings from Ms. Tran Thi Kim Tuyen (Pacific Environment Vietnam) about the impact of plastic waste on health and the environment. Along with that, the students were supported by volunteers and Youth Ambassadors for the Environment throughout their journey of exploring knowledge through fun and useful activities such as the Golden Bell Challenge, Crocodile on Land, Waste Sorting, Recycling Connection, and Rescue the Baby Turtle.

Through these engaging and practical activities, the students gained a better understanding of the harmful effects of plastic waste, the importance of protecting the environment, and also practiced teamwork, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills. The program encourages them to form green habits right from their school years so that each student can become an “environmental ambassador”, spreading sustainable lifestyles to their families and communities.

On this occasion, the program also donated waste sorting bins to teachers and students of Giang Bien Secondary School to encourage daily practices of waste separation on campus. This also helps students apply what they have just learned in real life.

After the opening event at Giang Bien Secondary School, School Tour 2025 will continue with students of Vietnam - Australia International School at Totto Chan Farm (Hoa Binh) on September 19, 2025, then at Gia Thuong Primary School on September 29, 2025, and finally at Xuan Dinh Primary School on October 13, 2025.
