Dear partners, friends and the generous benefactors of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation,
A successful year of the Pig - 2019 of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has come to an end with many meaningful activities for the community. Before starting our plans for next year, let’s look back on our 3rd and 4th quarter newsletter over the past 6 months.
“For Mother and Baby - For Vietnamese stature” project continues to have the 3rd year of successful implementation. It brought workers in industrial zones of Vinh Phuc province useful knowledge about mental health, reproductive health, and nutritional care. There were 4,260 beneficiaries in 2019, bringing the total number to 9,660 people in the past 3 years.
Whereas, DynaGen Initiative has begun its first exciting activities after selecting 48 students for the 2019-2020 school year.
Recognizing the contribution of VSF to community activities, Global Giving - one of the largest online fundraising platforms has trusted and entrusted VSF to implement voluntary activities in Muong Lat, Thanh Hoa Province after the flood in August.
Continuing the journey of knowledge and nurturing dreams for the younger generation, VSF brought 130 bookshelves (with more than 8,000 books) to 20 primary schools in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An Province.
In addition, many bridges, gratitude houses, heart surgeries, school opening and mid-autumn festival gifts, glasses of milk for children, and so forth were also completed in accordance with VSF goals of this year.
2019 is a milestone year, which is the 5-year establishment anniversary of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation. With those non-stop efforts in development projects and voluntary activities, VSF has brought many meaningful programs to the community. Reviewing the journey of the past 5 years, VSF is proud of sharing difficulties in remote areas, where facilities and living conditions are still lacking; sponsoring children in difficult circumstances, providing educational opportunities and improving their lives; building civil works; supporting vulnerable groups, and many other voluntary activities. Moreover, VSF is continuously implementing awareness-raising programs for workers in industrial zones, nurturing talents through encouraging students to overcome difficulties, students who have high achievements in studying, and initiatives from the younger generation.
VSF believes that with the accompaniment of units, organizations, and individuals sharing the same vision and enthusiasm, journeys for the community will spread and develop more sustainably. We would like to express our gratitude to the units and individuals that have accompanied VSF. We wish you all the best and success in the new year!
