VSF to receive a USD 1000 grant from Global Giving to support students suffered from flood in Ha Giang and Cao Bang province

Since July 2020, continuous and heavy rainfall has caused serious damage to some Northern mountainous provinces. With the hope to improve the situation, philanthropists around the world have together contributed an amount of USD 1000 through Global Giving to support children who were impacted by this natural disaster.

As a trusted partner of the world's largest fundraising interface, VSF has been delegated by Global Giving to deliver meaningful gifts to children in flood areas in Ha Giang and Cao Bang. The gifts including books and school supplies will help students be ready for the new school year.

Back in 2019, on behalf of Global Giving, VSF had also awarded VND 5,790,000 to a family who was in need of household reconstruction after suffering from landslides (caused by flash floods) in Thanh Hoa.

With all the appreciation towards the support and trust from Global Giving, VSF commits to take action for students in Ha Giang and Cao Bang before September 2020. Updates about the matter will be posted on our website and fan page!
