Last week, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH – VNU), the final round of the Debate Horizons 2025 competition took place successfully, attracting strong attention from both students and faculty. The event is part of the DynaGen Initiative Gen 6, jointly organized by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) and USSH.

Starting on October 20, 2025, after multiple intense and intellectually engaging rounds with the participation of more than 50 talented teams, the competition selected the two strongest teams – Nu Sieu Anh Hung and SOTAers – to enter the final debate with the topic: “Should Vietnam actively participate in next-generation free trade agreements?”

In the final round, the teams showcased their research abilities, critical thinking, and well-structured arguments based on economic and political analyses related to Vietnam’s international integration process. Their arguments were coherent, contextually grounded, and demonstrated strong academic commitment and preparation.

After careful evaluation of the teams’ arguments, strategic approaches, persuasiveness, and teamwork, the Championship title was awarded to the team Nu Sieu Anh Hung.

Debate Horizons 2025 is not only a competition; it is also a space for students to challenge their thinking, practice listening and debating skills, and approach global issues with confidence and fresh perspectives.

With a timely and strategic topic, Debate Horizons 2025 reaffirms the role of the DynaGen Initiative in fostering independent thinking, strengthening policy analysis skills, and helping students approach global issues through a multidimensional lens. This is also one of the key priorities that VSF pursues in its work to support education and youth development.

VSF sincerely thanks the judges, mentors, guest speakers, competing teams, and the entire audience for accompanying and contributing to the success of Debate Horizons 2025.
