Recently, the two first stops of the “Join the Greenverse!” workshop series, organized by the Greenverse - Board Game Universe initiative, took place vibrantly at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH) and Me Tri Dormitory (VNU). These sessions attracted more than 100 environmentally conscious young people. The Greenverse initiative is part of the DynaGen Initiative Season 6, implemented by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) in collaboration with VNU-USSH.

At the workshops, participants had the opportunity to experience two environmental education board games: “Green City” and “Sach Sanh Sanh” (Squeaky Clean). While “Green City” simulates a miniature urban area where every player's decision affects the city's overall pollution levels, “Sach Sanh Sanh” transforms waste sorting at the source into an exciting "battle" between green warriors and "waste bosses". Through these interactive board games, environmental protection messages are conveyed in an intuitive, easy-to-understand and relatable way for youth.

The workshops also provided a space for everyone to discover simple green living tips, share ideas and connect with like-minded individuals. Through "learn-through-play" experiences, participants not only gained vivid environmental knowledge but also had the chance to reflect on their daily choices, such as waste sorting, responsible consumption and building more sustainable green habits.

Greenverse - Board Game Universe is one of the initiatives selected in the Youth Initiative for Sustainable Development (YISD) contest, under the DynaGen Initiative Season 6, launched by VSF and VNU-USSH. In addition to financial support, VSF provides professional consultancy to ensure the feasibility and sustainability of the project during its development and implementation.
