Recently, the Office Tour "Visiting CARE International's office in Vietnam" opened up an opportunity for students to better understand the operating model and work culture at Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).

Previously, students participated in the training session "Skills for applying and working in NGOs and Diplomatic Missions." This activity was a chance for them to build upon the knowledge they learned through practical experience, right in the actual workplace.

The activity featured sharing from experts:

Ms. Vuong Thai Nga - Program Director at CARE

Mr. Le Xuan Hieu - Program Manager

Mr. Vu Xuan Thai - Program Manager of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation

USSH (University of Social Sciences and Humanities): Dr. Nguyen Van Dap - Lecturer of the Faculty of International Studies

At the Office Tour, students were directly welcomed and guided around the CARE office by the speakers, who also provided an overview of CARE's mission, key focus areas, and how it implements development programs in Vietnam. The friendly and practical sharing from the professionals helped students better visualize the professional, multicultural working environment at an INGO.

Besides exploring the workspace and operating model, students also listened to practical experiences regarding career paths in the NGO sector, the skills to prepare early on, as well as essential tips when applying and working in an international environment. Through open discussion sessions, many questions related to internships, professional development, and long-term orientation were answered directly by the speakers.

VSF hopes the insights shared at the Office Tour will become a solid foundation, further motivating you on your journey of personal and career development.
