For Vietnamese Stature Foundation together with BAC A BANK and TH Group present 2 ventilators which are worth nearly 2 billion Dong for combating Covid-19 pandemic

On 11th April 2020, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), TH Group and BAC A BANK gave 2 ventilators model V680 of Philips, worth nearly 2 billion Dong, to Nghe An Friendship General Hospital for combating Covid-19 pandemic in Nghe An province.

The presenting ceremony took place in front of the witness of: Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Health Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Huong - Director of Nghe An Friendship General Hospital; Mr. Le Van Ngoc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh, up to now, the province has welcomed nearly 10,000 citizens from other countries coming to health quarantine, including nearly 7,000 cases in concentrated isolation centers. Along with efforts of the entire community in seriously implementing the Government's directions, Nghe An province also received the contribution of many people, especially the effective participation of enterprises.

The donation of the two cutting-edge technology ventilators makes more sense in the current period when Nghe An is preparing for battling the pandemic at higher levels and the availability of health support equipment is very important. The province currently has only 200 ventilators, but Nghe An Friendship General Hospital has only 60 machines, even though it’s the provincial leading hospital.

At the ceremony, 15,000 glasses of fresh milk under the program "One million glasses of fresh milk joined hands to repel the Covid-19 pandemic" were also presented to people in quarantine and the doctors of Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.

Up to now, VSF, TH Group and BAC A BANK have donated more than 15 billion Dong in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic through activities such as sponsoring 5 billion Dong to buy medical equipment, masks for hospitals, donating 1 million glasses of milk (worth over 8 billion Dong) to frontline forces, sponsoring ventilators, and other charitable activities with staff of BAC A BANK and TH Group.

In addition, VSF has been providing gifts, including milk, rice, masks, hand sanitizer, etc, to prevent the spread of the pandemic for disadvantaged children.
