Giving 34 ventilators worth nearly VND14 billion to the Ministry of Health

To join hands with the country to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, on September 1, 2021, TH Group, Bac A Bank, through For Vietnamese Stature (VSF) giving 34 modern Elisa 300 ventilators imported from Germany with a total value of nearly VND14 billion to the Ministry of Health in order to treat patients with severe COVID-19.
After receiving ventilators, the representative of the Ministry of Health immediately give 10 ones to Viet Duc Hospital, 10 ones to Bach Mai Hospital, 10 ones to Hanoi Medical University Hospital, and 4 ones to Nghe An province.
In the 4th COVID-19 outbreak from May 2021, with the rapid increase of those infected with COVID-19, the healthcare sector has been putting great efforts in treating severe patients, controlling and reducing the death rate of patients. These modern ventilators donated will give more chances to live to patients and contribute to high-level anti-pandemic preparation.
“We not only ensure production to supply enough products for people but also are always aware of our responsibility to join hands with the Government to fight the pandemic. During this period, health is the most important. Hopefully, these ventilators will help doctors and nurses save more patients,” said Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang, Director of VSF.
This is one of many gift-giving trips implemented by VSF, TH Group and BAC A BANK since the COVID-19 outbreaks from March 2020. Up to now, 3 units have given more than 4 million fresh milk products, healthy drinks; have donated medical equipment, the vaccine fund and people who are in quarantine; and have given charity meals worth up to VND100 billion.
