Giving 500,000 dairy products and drinks worth VND 4 billion to support Ho Chi Minh City fight the pandemic

Responding to the call of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, on August 25, 2021, TH Group, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, through For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) gave 500,000 milk glasses and healthy drinks with a total value of nearly VND 4 billion to Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee.

Up to now, during the fourth COVID-19 outbreak, Ho Chi Minh City has recorded a total of 190,166 cases. Faced with the complicated situation of the pandemic, the city has strictly implemented measures to contain the epidemic, conduct testing, as well as deploy a vaccination campaign throughout the city.

These nutritional products will be distributed by the local government to support disadvantaged families and frontline forces in the city. VSF believes that milk glasses and drinks, which were delivered timely, will join hands and support the Southern compatriots and the frontline force in the fight against the pandemic.

When COVID-19 pandemic prevention reach its peak from the beginning of 2020 until now, VSF, TH Group and BAC A BANK have donated more than VND 95 billion, including VND 46 billion donation to the Vietnam Fund for Vaccination Prevention of Coronavirus Disease 2019; 4 million glasses of milk worth VND 30 billion; VND 17 billion for medical equipment and supplies, and VND 2.2 billion to support testing and isolation costs for employees.
