Giving 72,000 glasses of milk and other drinks for the "Launching ceremony to mobilize the general population to participate in pandemic prevention" in Ho Chi Minh City

In the fourth COVID-19 outbreak, HCMC has recorded more than 149,000 infections till now. After nearly 40 days of social distancing under Directive 16, the anti-pandemic forces even face more difficulties; the lives of people in difficult circumstances, and free labours are severely affected.

In this scorching weather, meaningful gifts will be distributed to checkpoints and isolation areas, which help people, civil defence forces and staff in functional units quench their thirst, and strengthen their body resistance against the pandemic.

In August, TH Group, Bac A Bank, and VSF promptly supported nearly VND2.2 billion to pay for testing and accommodation costs during the isolation period for 500 Nghe An children who returned home from the severe pandemic areas in HCMC. Also, 3 units are donating 24 ventilators to hospitals through the Ministry of Health.

These activities belong to a series of campaigns to give medical supplies and equipment continuously carried out by 3 units during the past 18 months since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to join hands with the Government to fight the pandemic with a total value of up to nearly VND90 billion.

In the context of the complicated pandemic, social security activities are more important than ever.
