Inauguration of the For Vietnamese Stature Bridge No.3 - A project to commemorate the 5th anniversary of VSF

This meaningful work is sponsored by Madam Thai Huong - Chairwoman of the Management Board of VSF, Founder and Chairwoman of the Strategy Council of TH Group, marking a 5-year (2014 - 2019) journey that VSF has travelled to spread humanity within the community.

The project implementation is a collaboration among VSF, Tien Phong Newspaper, the Youth Union members in both Tuyen Quang province and Na Hang district.

“We hope that the bridge will bring opportunities, connections and development to the locality the same way as VSF's journey to connect the community in the past 5 years” - Ms Tran Thi Nhu Trang, Director of VSF shared her thoughts at the ceremony. 

Sinh Long Commune, located in the northeast of Na Hang district, has an extremely difficult economic situation. There are 4 ethnic groups (Dao, Mong, Tay, Kinh) in this area; with over 600 households that account for 3,200 people living mainly on small agricultural production. More than 75% of households are poor with average income below 600,000 VND/month.

After nearly 5 months, the construction of For Vietnamese Stature Bridge No.3 has been completed as local people expected.

On this occasion, VSF also presented 50 gifts for 50 kindergartners in Nam Duong village.

VSF hopes that the bridge will solve traffic hardships and contribute to the socio-economic development in Sinh Long commune, in general, and Nam Duong village, in particular. In addition, For Vietnamese Stature Bridge No.3 will assure safety for students when they walk to school, especially during the rainy and flood season.
