For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is delighted to announce that after more than two months of effort, the Phase 1 fundraising campaign for the renovation of My Ly 1 Semi-Boarding Ethnic Minority Primary School has successfully concluded. The total amount raised during the campaign was 2,048,043,845 VND from 2,260 donations.

Here’s the breakdown:

1,300,073,982 VND came from 192 donors, including individuals and organizations, through VSF’s bank account and website

401,579,325 VND was raised from 1,982 participants in the "Race to Raise Season 3" running event.

346,390,538 VND was contributed through the profits of the 2025 New Year calendar campaign “Dawn in the Highlands,” supported by 86 individuals and organizations.

Phase 1 construction will include a two-story dormitory building with 10 fully equipped rooms, including bathrooms and toilets. Each dormitory room is designed with 4 bunk beds, providing accommodation for 8 students and ensuring enough living space for them.

Alongside the fundraising, the design and detailed cost estimation for the construction were quickly completed by VSF in collaboration with the consulting unit, the district’s Education Department, and the school. Right after the campaign’s success, VSF finalized the necessary procedures to start the project as soon as possible, creating a better learning environment for the teachers and students of My Ly 1. According to the plan, the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 1 will take place on January 20, 2025.

Once Phase 1 is completed, 345 students at My Ly 1 will have a cleaner, safer, and more modern space for studying, playing, and living.

This campaign’s success would not have been possible without the invaluable support and contributions from the community. VSF sincerely thanks all donors and organizations for spreading love and trust to the students here. Updates on the progress of the My Ly 1 renovation project will continue to be shared on VSF’s communication channels.
