More than a month after construction began in May 2026, the new school kitchen at My Ly 1 Primary Semi-Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students (My Ly commune, Nghe An province) is progressing on schedule and is expected to be ready for use in the new school year.

To date, the main structure of the kitchen has been largely completed and is now taking shape. The next stages, including ceiling construction, roof completion, and wall plastering, are being carried out simultaneously so that the facility can be completed this summer.

Once operational, the new kitchen will provide safer, cleaner, and more convenient conditions for cooking and food preparation. It will also help the school improve the quality of care and meals provided to students, particularly those staying at the school.

The school kitchen is part of Phase 2 of the infrastructure improvement project at My Ly 1 Primary Semi-Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students, a project marking the 10th anniversary of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF).

Previously, in October, VSF inaugurated a two-story dormitory building worth VND 2.1 billion at the school, providing fully equipped living facilities for 209 students staying at the school.
