Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Duc Thinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Lao Chai commune; Mr. Sung A Lu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Chai commune; Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang - Chairperson of the VSF Management Board; Mr. Tran Cong Hung - Member of the Editorial Board, General Secretary of the Tien Phong Newspaper; Mr. Ha Duc Hai - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union; representatives of the local government, mass organizations, and a large number of people from Hang Gang village.

The Hang Gang - For Vietnamese Stature Bridge - was constructed with a length of 16m, a width of 4m, and a load capacity of 10 tons, at a total cost of over 1.173 billion VND. Of this, VSF contributed 780 million VND; the remainder was contributed by the local government, along with labor and materials from local residents and youth union members.
A special feature of the project is its design as a stone arch bridge - a highly durable structure that increases the bridge's load-bearing capacity, limits the direct impact of water flow, reduces the risk of erosion, and extends the structure's lifespan.

Before the new bridge was built, residents of Hang Gang village mainly relied on a temporary wooden bridge that had severely deteriorated over time. The bridge was narrow and unstable in many sections, posing a significant safety risk. During the rainy season, the stream's water level rises, almost completely cutting off transportation and significantly impacting the daily lives, education, and trade of the villagers.

Comrade Sung A Lu, the Standing Vice Chairman, highly appreciated the significance of the project and emphasized: “The construction of the Hang Gang - For Vietnamese Stature Bridge - not only fulfills the long-held aspirations of the people but also opens up more favorable conditions for economic development, trade, ensures safe travel, and gradually improves the quality of life for local people.”

On this occasion, VSF donated an additional water supply system to Hang Gang Kindergarten worth 5.6 million VND, 31 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to disadvantaged students, and 1,056 glasses of TH true MILK to all attendees of the ceremony.
