“The Happy Library, with its welcoming space and diverse collection of books, has become an inspiring destination that nurtures students’ love for reading, supports their thinking, and enriches their emotional growth. It is not only a place for learning, but also a space where dreams are planted and positive values are nurtured for future generations.”

These heartfelt words about the new library were shared by Ms. Tran Quynh Nhan, Principal of Nghia Loi Primary School.

The “Happy Library” is one of two facility improvement components under the “Happy School” project, implemented at Nghia Loi Primary School in Nghia Tho commune, Nghe An province. With a total budget of VND 200 million, the project was developed as an outdoor library model covering approximately 135 square meters. It creates a shared space where students can read, interact, and connect, thereby supporting language development and strengthening their communication skills. The library was officially inaugurated as part of the “Closing Ceremony and Reading Cultural Promotion Festival” held on April 21.

Also on April 21, VSF donated 2,403 books to 7 schools across Nghia Tho commune, including Nghia Loi Primary School. This activity helps enrich learning resources while fostering and spreading a culture and spirit of reading not only among students at the school, but throughout Nghia Tho commune.
