“What I liked most today was drawing with my friends. Usually, I only draw by myself in class, so being able to discuss and share ideas based on the teacher's theme this time made me very happy and gave me many better ideas,” said Ba Tan, a 5th-grade student at Nghia Loi Primary School.
At the training, students were introduced to various relatable forms of communication such as drawing, creating comics, making wall newspapers and paper puppetry. For the children, this was an engaging and novel experience, as they were guided for the first time on how to organize ideas, convey information and express their thoughts on familiar school life issues through drawings and plays in a correct, clear and understandable way.

Furthermore, the activity opened up opportunities and space for students to discuss and share ideas based on given themes. From these exchanges, many new ideas were formed, helping each student become more confident and comfortable in expressing their perspectives during the process.

This is also the goal of the Happy school project when organizing training sessions at schools: to create a space where children can speak up, share their thoughts, and express their views confidently, while knowing how to relay the knowledge they have learned in an age-appropriate manner. This contributes to enhancing student participation rights and building a positive, respectful and student-centered school environment.
