Join hands to fulfill T.N.H's dream of continuing school

In Quang Ninh, the starting point of Vietnam's coastline, a young Dao ethnic student named T.N.H, a fourth grader in Tien Yen District, is facing the distressing possibility of not being able to continue going to school.

Her parents are divorced, her mother has left, leaving H. and her older sister to rely on their father, who suffers from a mental illness and is unable to work or manage the household. H.'s older sister, born in 2009, had to suspend her studies to take on the responsibility of caring for their father and younger sister. The family's situation is increasingly unstable, with an income of only 2 million VND per month.

Furthermore, because her home is far away, H. has to stay at school in the semi-boarding program from Sunday to Friday afternoon. However, she often owes the school meal fees due to her family's inability to afford them. This makes H.'s pursuit of education increasingly difficult.

"I wish I had money so I could continue going to school. I don’t want to drop out," H. shared tearfully.

Understanding H.'s difficult situation, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) has launched a fundraising campaign to support her living expenses for three years. Each month, H. will receive 1,000,000 VND to cover her education and living costs.

The fundraising campaign will run from July 24, 2024, to September 30, 2024, with the goal of raising 36,000,000 VND to support H. over the next three years. VSF hopes to receive support and partnership from sponsors. Every contribution, big or small, will be a great motivation for H. to continue her education and have a brighter future.
