[Long-term fundraising project] Women Development Program

With the goal of improving community awareness and practices related to women’s health, promoting gender equality, and preventing gender-based violence within families and communities, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) implements the Women Development Program. 

The program’s strategic approaches include: organizing training courses on health care for workers and managers; implementing communication campaigns on nutrition, reproductive health, mental health, and gender equality; providing livelihood loans to support household economic development; organizing training on gender equality, gender-based violence prevention, and family livelihood improvement; and establishing core groups to champion gender equality in their communities.

Key projects under the program:

Impressive numbers from the Women Development program (up to 2024) 

• Nearly 17,000 people directly benefited from training sessions, counseling on reproductive health, mental health, and nutrition, as well as free health check-ups for workers.

• More than VND 1.3 billion was contributed to the Livelihood Support Fund, helping more than 180 women facing difficult circumstances improve their livelihoods and strengthen their economic empowerment.

• 360 women and children became core advocates promoting gender equality and children's rights.
