In 2019, stories and articles about environmental incidents and air pollution were continuously covering the media. But have we only now faced these problems or have the environmental issues been silently creeping into our lives for so long that we have become accustomed to them?

Will this 2020, and the future, we still have the opportunity to breathe in the fresh air, living in an unpolluted city again?

We - young people, together with everyone around us, are affected by the environmental problems that we partly contribute to. But, we can also come up with the solution!

If you or your team are carrying energetic ideas to address environmental issues, we hope you will join us in:

INNOVATIVE FUND “Fresh Air - Green City" phase II

The Initiative Fund aims to strengthen initiatives and solutions that impact children, young people and communities, especially those directly affected by air pollution or environmental issues nationwide.

- Time to send your initiative to the Fund: May 30 - July 10, 2020

- Project location: all provinces and cities in Vietnam

- Initiatives are proposed and implemented by schools, youth groups, communities, young scientific research groups

- Content of initiatives: Actions that contribute to improving air quality, environmental protection and people's health, such as (i) education and communication activities to raise awareness / change behavior; (ii) green solutions for the community; (iii) scientific research on air quality.

Joining the Initiative Fund, you will have the opportunity to:

- Receive funding of up to VND 50 million;

- Opportunity to learn and share about environmental topics, especially air pollution;

- Receive technical support and advice for the project from environmental experts and guests;

- Building network with young people who share the same environmental concerns and visions in the region;

- Receive certificates of participation in environmental projects;

- Have the opportunity to participate in the Forum of Youth and Sustainable Development taking place in Triem Tay, Hoi An.

The Initiative Fund "Fresh Air - Green City" Phase II is established within the framework of the project "Clean air - Green city", implemented by the Green Generation Network, Center of Live & Learn For Environment and Community and For Vietnam Stature Foundation, supported by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
