As the first semester draws to a close, the Growing up with mountainous children project of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) continues to record many positive results on the journey of accompanying children in disadvantaged areas.

During the past semester, 279 students at 8 school sites under Thai Son and Thach Lam preschools (Cao Bang) and Son Dinh preschool (Dak Lak) were sponsored with 37,788 semi-boarding meals.

In addition to meal support, the project also supported the improvement of school facilities, including 2 televisions, 3 blanket cabinets and 200 floor mats. The total value of the facility sponsorship is 29,450,000 VND, contributing to improving the living and learning conditions for the children.

After one semester, the students have shown positive changes. On average, the children grew 1.4 cm taller and gained 0.85 kg, while also becoming more agile, confident and enthusiastic in their daily learning and play.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong - Vice Principal of Son Dinh Preschool (Dak Lak Province) shared: "After one semester, I noticed that the children are always happy and actively participate in learning and playing activities. The project has greatly supported disadvantaged students, contributing to maintaining stable semi-boarding attendance at the school, while also helping them form better living habits."

VSF believes that every meal and every act of accompaniment today will help the children become more resilient on their journey of growing up. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the sponsors who have always trusted VSF and stood by the children.
