School facilities and equipment donated to students in Lao Cai’s border communities

The total value of the support was VND 270,000,000, of which VSF and the BAC A BANK Youth Union contributed VND 250,040,000. Specifically:

At Den Thang Preschool (Den Thang commune), the organizations donated a canopy system and equipment for the school’s semi-boarding activities, including a refrigerator and an industrial gas stove, with a total value of VND 184,540,000.

At Den Thang Primary Semi-Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students (Den Thang commune), a school sanitation facility and a rice cooker, with a combined value of VND 65,500,000, were donated to support teachers and students.

 In addition, a television worth VND 20,000,000 was donated to Sang Ma Sao Primary and Lower Secondary Semi-Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students (Sang Ma Sao commune).

Den Thang and Sang Ma Sao are mountainous communes in Lao Cai Province that continue to face many difficulties. Most students are from ethnic minority communities, and learning and living conditions remain limited. The newly provided facilities and equipment will help improve the learning and living conditions of both teachers and students.

Beyond their material value, these contributions also reflect the care and shared commitment of VSF and partner organizations to education in mountainous communities, providing further encouragement for teachers and students as they continue their journey of learning.
