Tet is the season of unity, abundance, and joy. At teacher Dinh Thi Kim Phan's volunteer class, this annual event is not just a festive occasion but a moment filled with genuine joy through various activities welcoming the arrival of spring.
This year's Tet for teacher Kim Phan and her 20 students becomes even more special with the gifts fromFor Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), including 10 traditional Ao Dai dresses and 20 Tet-themed T-shirts.
In their new outfits, the children joyfully and enthusiastically performed the creative ‘self-scripted, self-performed’ art performances with teacher Kim Phan. Innocent smiles, melodious singing, and lively dance moves created a vibrant atmosphere in the classroom.
Looking at the children in their new clothes, teacher Kim Phan shared: "Every year, my literacy class always has activities to welcome Tet. This year, the kids even have new clothes and learn a new song to welcome Tet joyfully. I hope these little angels will always be healthy and happy like the spring."
Established from the "Thuy's Dream" program, the class has been around for 15 years. Teacher Phan, since her time as a teacher at the Đuốc Sống Primary School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), often took the opportunity to visit and teach the children. Even though she has retired and has many other tasks, she still devotes a significant amount of her energy to the beloved children in this classroom."
