On September 13th 2019, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) officially awarded 130 bookshelves, equivalent to nearly 8,000 books on various topics, including scientific books, reference books, skill books, and literary books. ... for 20 primary schools in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province.
The program was jointly organized by VSF, Yen Thanh District People's Committee, Yen Thanh District Education and Training Department and Social Enterprise - Compassion Books Company Limited, with the support of TH Group.

Ms. Tran Thi Da - Principal of Hop Thanh Primary School, on behalf of the 20 receiving schools, pledged to make effective use of the bookcases. She said: “From this school year, we will maintain reading time for children, in addition to the first 15 minutes of school time. We are planning to mobilize the participation of parents, thereby they can be positively affected by reading culture right at their residential area. In addition, the school will organize programs to honor children who are good at storytelling and sharing books ”.
The lack of book resources is the reason the reading classes at the school are limited. By timely additions from social organizations, reading encouragement activities will be implemented more effectively and diversified.

At the Book Giving Ceremony, 30 scholarships and gifts were given to students in especially difficult circumstances at Hop Thanh Primary School. 650 pupils of Hop Thanh Primary School also participated in the Reading Festival with nearly 20 diverse activities with topics related to books such as Literature Engineers, Talented MC, Transcendent Brains and traditional activities on the theme of Mid-Autumn Festival such as making paper lanterns, star-shaped lantern and tug of war, sack jumping, etc. The festival helped students to recognize value and find joy in reading, and be equipped with knowledge of selecting books and reading skills.
