After 9 months of construction, the project was completed amid great joy from the school, students, and parents. With a total investment of more than 2.1 billion VND, this is a landmark project marking the 10-year journey of VSF

Attending the inauguration ceremony were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Nghe An province; leaders of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training; local authorities; leaders of VSF; representatives of Nong Thon Ngay Nay / Dan Viet electronic newspaper; leaders of Muong Long Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company; the school’s staff, parents, and 343 students.
The 2-storey dormitory includes 10 self-contained rooms with full bathrooms and toilets, providing safe and convenient living conditions for 209 semi-boarding students at the school. The new building not only addresses the severe shortage of accommodation as more Grade 3 students are transferred from satellite classes to the main campus, but also offers the children a cleaner, more spacious, and dignified living environment.

Mr. Nguyen The Vinh, Principal of the school, shared emotionally: “For many years, we have faced numerous difficulties in arranging meals and accommodation for our students, especially the younger ones who live far from their families. This has been a great pressure on the school and a constant concern for parents.

The completion of this new, safe, and fully equipped dormitory has removed many of those challenges. It is not only a new home and a source of both physical and emotional support for the students, but also an important step in improving our infrastructure as we strive to become a national-standard school in the coming years.”
On this occasion, VSF also presented 2,784 glasses of fresh TH true MILK to all students at the school.

Currently, VSF is raising funds for Phase 2 to build a semi-boarding kitchen for students, ensuring that the children are fully taken care of in both accommodation and daily meals. A standard-compliant kitchen will not only provide delicious and nutritious meals, but also play an important role in protecting students’ health and laying the foundation for their physical development.
