As part of the 1,000 school restrooms project, VSF, in collaboration with Nghe An Department of Education and Training, has officially commenced construction of 48 school restrooms across 16 schools in Nghe An Province.

These are the first 48 facilities to be launched under the cooperation agreement between VSF and the Nghe An Department of Education and Training to build and renovate 300 school restrooms over a three-year period, with a total sponsorship value of VND 18 billion.

Throughout this summer, construction will be carried out on an accelerated schedule so that all 48 facilities are completed and ready for use at the start of the new academic year. Once operational, they will help meet the sanitation needs of more than 6,500 students.

Clean and safe school restrooms do more than improve physical infrastructure. They help students feel more confident at school, encourage good hygiene practices, protect their health, and create a better environment for learning every day.

Through this activity, VSF hopes to continue working alongside local communities in building safer, healthier, and more sustainable learning environments for children.
