Previously, the school’s old sanitation area was located across a large courtyard from the classroom buildings, requiring students to spend considerable time walking back and forth and causing inconvenience, especially on rainy days.
“Previously, the school only had one sanitation facility, which was located far from the classroom area and could not meet the needs of more than 400 students, especially during bad weather. Therefore, when the new facilities were put into use, both teachers and students were delighted, as the students’ daily conditions had clearly improved, becoming more convenient and safer for learning,” happily shared Ms. Tran Quynh Nhan, Principal of Nghia Loi Primary School.

The new sanitation facilities, worth VND 150 million, include separate restroom areas for boys and girls, along with a shared outdoor handwashing area. Built near the classroom buildings and semi-boarding area, the new facilities provide greater convenience for students. This is another project inaugurated under the “1,000 school restrooms” project of the “Wishes for Children” Program, implemented by VSF in collaboration with TH Group and BAC A BANK.
Also on April 21, at Nghia Loi Primary School, VSF organized the “Closing Ceremony and Reading Culture Festival” under the “Happy school” project and inaugurated the “Happy Library,” reaffirming the commitment to accompanying the school comprehensively, not only through infrastructure improvement but also by supporting teachers and students holistically.

Nghia Loi Primary School was also selected by VSF as the implementation site for the “Happy school” project during the 2025-2026 academic year. The project simultaneously carried out infrastructure improvement activities and training and communication sessions to strengthen capacity for teachers, parents, and students, to support the school in building a comprehensive learning environment.
