The Growing up with mountainous students project, initiated by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), has been fortunate to receive support and contributions from many individuals and organizations, joining hands to bring nutritious meals to preschools in Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province - where every day at school for these children is a challenging journey over mountains and passes.
Before the closing ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, the project organized the Pac Miau trip to visit and encourage the schools benefiting from semi-boarding meal support. These nutritious meals not only energize the children on their learning journey but also bring peace of mind to families and teachers.
Mr. Trang A Qua, a student’s parent, shared:
“Previously, our family could not afford much, so we could only pack an egg for our child each day, with meat being very occasional. After receiving the meal support, our child is now healthier, rarely gets sick, and enjoys going to class.”
The innocent smiles and eager eyes of the children are the clearest evidence of the positive changes that a quality school environment can bring. This is also the fruit of a whole community quietly accompanying highland children as they grow up day by day.
A report on the Pac Miau trip was recorded and aired by VTV1 in the program Vi Tam Voc Viet (For Vietnamese Stature). We invite you to rewatch it to fully feel the joy and meaningful moments of the project’s journey of love.
