Awarding 2 sponsorships with a total value of 40 million VND from Loving Red pocket program

With the desire to help children in especially difficult circumstances through National Cancer Hospital K3 in Tan Trieu, Hanoi, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) visited and awarded sponsorships to 2 pediatric patients in Hospital in the morning of February 15, 2020.

A sponsorships of 20 million dong/family was awarded to two pediatric patients with especially difficult circumstances:

Mr. N.M.D (currently in Testicular Cancer treatment) is the second child in a poor family. His father left  the family when he was 3 years old, therefore, the family’s income depends on his mother who is working far away from home. Since he was admitted to this hospital in September 2019, he have been taken care of by his grandmother - who has also been treated for heart disease and hemangioma since 2010.

Ms. N.T.M (currently in osteoma treatment) was born in a special family. Her father has lost the ability to work due to muscular atrophy, and her grandma has been paralyzed for 8 years. Although her mother has been treated colorectal cancer, she still tries to take care of M..

This is an amount deducted from the 100 million Dong from Loving Red pocket program, implemented on Tet holiday 2020.

In addition, as usual, VSF also came to give milk to the pediatric patients being treated as an inpatient at National Cancer Hospital K3 in Tan Trieu. There were 3 teachers and students of TH School accompanied VSF in this trip. They were Ms. Jill Sugden, Mr. Tom Traxson and Ms. Hong Anh - 8th graders. The delegation also gave special gifts prepared by TH School’s teachers and students. Each goody bag included a cute teddy bear, colored pens, ... and love cards.

Looking the happiness of the patients as well as their relatives, VSF increasingly appreciates our work and is enormously grateful to the philanthropists who have always supported VSF to maintain this meaningful work.
