Nutritious vegetable garden and essential cozy winter clothes are special gifts to disadvantaged students at Xuan Nha kindergarten, Van Ho, Son La province.

Xuan Nha is one of the most difficult and remote communes of Van Ho district, Son La province, located in the border region between Vietnam and Laos, 40 km to the West from the center of Van Ho district. People here are mainly ethnic minorities such as: Mong, Muong, Man, Thai with high poverty rate.

In the school year of 2019-2020, Xuan Nha kindergarten has 310 students living sparsely in 7 mountain villages. Because of the penurious condition of living, those students do not have enough necessities to go to school.

Therefore, on the upcoming November 1st, 2019, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) collaborated with Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper and DynaGen Initiative students will come to share the difficulties with students, with the companion of TH Group in the program "Green life - responsible life" from the community.

VSF received 100 million VND from TH Group for the charitable activities in Son La province.

The sponsors will give nutritious vegetable gardens, pillows, blankets, snug winter clothes, sandals, notebooks, and toys to the students. Such meaningful gifts will not only help the students experience a warmer winter, but they also improve their learning performance and provide them additional nutrition at school.

Besides, to encourage the students’ spirits and increase their motivation to go to school,  the sponsors will pay a visit and gift the support money for one school year to 5 students of the most disadvantaged families.

The volunteers will also organize interactive activities and games at school to bring the kindergarten students a joyful day full of interesting experiences.

“Green Life - Responsible Life” program was initiated by TH Group, with an aim to realize Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nation complied by Vietnam. Correspondingly, the program encouraged the whole community in reducing nylon bags and protecting the surrounding environment by using gifted canvas bags instead. More importantly, with each of the bags given, 10,000 VND was drawn respectively to raise funds for needy children.

Not only did the program motivate environmental-protective behaviors towards sustainable development of the consumers (“green life”), but it also connected and spread a sense of collective responsibility to all people (“responsible life”).
