For Vietnamese Stature Foundation has executed many charitable activities - Lunar New Year 2020

SPONSORING 15 BILLION VND FOR “JOINING HANDS FOR THE POOR” PROGRAM

Responding to the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction and the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one will be left behind" launched by the Vietnamese Prime Minister, VSF together with BAC A BANK and TH Group have donated 15 billion VND  to the program.

Activities within the program will include: new charity house construction and repairation; financial support for the purchase of supplies, agriculture production tools, plant seedling varieties, animals, etc; support for students going to school, support for patients in curing sickness and hospitalization; unexpected hunger aid, support for the poor on the occasion of Tet, big holidays. Particularly, the program prioritize the support of building charity houses for poor households in villages and hamlets of extremely difficult communes ;households with members who have done meritorious services during the revolution and have difficulties in accommodation . In addition, the support is also provided through social security programs: Civil construction in poor communities (poor communes, poor districts, difficult villages, etc; medical examination and treatment, etc.).

SPONSORING 2.08 VND FOR THE “TET FOR THE POOR” PROGRAM 

Aligning with the objective of helping the poor to have a warm and fulfilling Tet, VSF has continued to accompany  “Tet for the poor” program under the sponsorship of Bac A Bank, TH Group and Nghe An Sugar Limited Liability Company.

Specifically, VSF has sponsored 1.33 billion VND in cash and 2000 glasses of milkequivalent to 720 million VND. 

SPONSORING 930 MILLION IN “ HUMANITARIAN POWER” PROGRAM

Through the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross, VSF has accompanied with BAC A BANK and TH Group to sponsor 930 million VND to support the poor, victims of Agent Orange and victims of floods, overcoming their difficulties in life and enjoy Tet 2020. Accordingly, gifts will be given to disadvantaged families in 19 provinces across the country.

GRANTING SOLAR BATTERY SYSTEM FOR NHOT LOT STATION, MY LY FRONTIER POST, NGHE AN PROVINCE.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2020, VSF and Bac A Bank have coordinated with the Vietnam War Veteran newspaper to grant solar battery system worth 102 million VND for Nhot Lot Station, My Ly, Nghe An province.

This is a significant present to the soldiers of border-guard Nhot Lot, known as the "4 No" station: no lighting, no signal, no clean water, no roads. The operation of the solar battery system will help CBCS units overcome a part of their daily life, leaving them to feel convenient to work and fulfill the task of firmly defending the border security and sovereignty of the country.  

SPONSORING 40 MILLION VND FOR 2 COMMUNITY ORIENTATION INITIATIVES

In order to encourage young people's initiatives on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020, VSF has launched the “Community Orientation Initiative” program. 02 initiatives have been selected and supported 20 million VND / per initiative for implementation. These two initiatives include: "Happiness Is Valuable" bringing Tet to children living with HIV in Ba Vi, Hanoi and "Run for Love" raising funds to support children in difficult circumstances in Hanoi.

 SPONSORING 30 MILLION VND FOR STUDENTS IN DIFFICULT CIRCUMSTANCES

With the aim of encouraging students who are a member of Youth Union, organization and currently in a disadvantaged situation, with good achievement results in the past year, VSF has coordinated with Vietnam Student Development and Support Center (VSDS) to give 100 presents, with a total value of 30 million VND. Hopefully, these practical support  will be a meaningful gift for students after a year of relentless efforts to train and study.
