For Vietnamese Stature Foundation supports "Red Sunday" program 2017

Therefore, this is the fourth time in a row, VSF and TH Group have supported Red Sunday program. In 2014, TH Group awarded 20,000 glasses of fresh milk. In 2015 and 2016, 120,000 glasses of milk were given to volunteer blood donors.

This year, TH Group, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and Nghe An Sugar Company (Nasu) through VSF continue to assist and sponsor 30,000 gifts (including 28,800 glasses of fresh TH True Milk and 22,800 kgs of Nasu refined sugar) for blood donation volunteers on the Red Sunday program. "We hope that the contribution of VSF will partly make up the overall success of the humanitarian blood donation movement," said Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang.

The leader of VSF also shares that for many years, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, TH Group and Nghe An Sugar Company (Nasu) have been cooperating with many social security activities such as scholarhip award for talented disadvantaged students, presenting charity houses to the poor, giving gifts to families of revolutionary wounded soldiers-martyrs-heroic mothers, etc.These activities express the perception that human is the most important resource of the society and also a burning desire of Madam Thai Huong - General Director of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Chairwoman of TH Group - Founder of VSF.

On January 8, the Red Sunday Program 2017, presided by Tien Phong Newspaper, in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the National Steering Committee for Blood Donation in provinces/cities will be opened in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other locations. This is a significant humanitarian event to contribute significantly to overcome the scarcity of blood for treatment at medical institutions during the Lunar New Year.

Over the past 8 years of continuous organizing (2009 - 2016), "Red Sunday" program has become an annual blood donation day and has a great impact on the community and society when calling for more involvement. Starting from a blood donation point in Ha Noi with 96 blood units in 2009, by 2016, Red Sunday program with the message "Your life and ours" was held in 22 provinces/cities across the country and received 22,455 units of blood.
