The launch ceremony of the AGenT SGP took place online this afternoon, June 8, 2022. In addition to 3 initiatives from Indonesia, Nepal, and India, the "Breaking the Circle of Prejudice" of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is the only representative of Vietnam to receive funding this year. This is the second consecutive year VSF has received financial backing from this program.

With this initiative, through a series of training activities, communication and the contest "Junior Journalists", VSF hopes to inspire and support ethnic minority children and teachers to become pioneers in eliminating gender prejudices and precepts. The initiative will be implemented at Ban Lau Primary School, Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province in 2022. Ban Lau School is currently the implementation site where VSF cooperates with Management and Sustainable Development Institute (MSD) and partners to carry out the project "Happiness School"

At the event, the parties shared and exchanged information about the content of the initiatives, time frames for implementation, necessary financial and administrative procedures

AGenT is one of the efforts to establish a network of gender professionals in Asia. The organizer of AGenT is the Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE).
