Messages from the “Love without Prejudice” campaign

To conclude the campaign, VSF would like to summarize the main messages that we want to convey as follows: 

1. A person's abilities, characteristics, and values do not depend on their gender.

2. All jobs are equally important and valuable, including housework and paid jobs.

3. Sharing responsibilities in family and society will bring happiness to everyone. 

4. Prejudices in general and gender stereotypes, in particular, afflict both our beloved people and ourselves. 

5. Gender equality is not a fight against men nor it’s a fight for women’s rights. Gender equality is the fight to eliminate gender stereotypes and gender norms so that everyone is free to make choices and develop to their full potential. 

In the coming time, VSF will continue to make efforts to implement activities to help raise public awareness, contribute to eliminating gender stereotypes and promote gender equality in Vietnam. We will also support the activities of the Network of Young Journalists and Communications Officers - Take Action for Gender Equality. 

The campaign “Love without prejudice” was initiated and implemented by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), sponsored by The Korean Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education (KIGEPE). The campaign took place from November 10 to 23, 2021 with the aim of encouraging the public, especially young people, to change their attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors towards existing gender stereotypes and stereotypes.
