On the eve of the new school year 2022, BAC A BANK and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), through Bien Phong newspaper, have completed installing and giving the high-powered solar light systems to My Ly 2, Bac Ly 2, Nam Can 2, and Bao Nam 2 Primary School in Ky Son district, Nghe An province.
These prove to be valuable gifts to schools in mountainous and border areas of Nghe An province, as they are not supplied by the national electrical grid. The light systems are installed in the schoolyard, common rooms, and the dormitory, allowing students to do their homework in their bed.
“We are joyful to have the light system. After dinner, we can play in the schoolyard before returning to our room to do homework. Before having the light system, we didn’t want to go out of our rooms at night because it was very dark, dull, and scary outside ”, shared Lo Thi Hoa, a student from class 4A, My Ly 2 Primary School.
My Ly 2 Primary School Principal Tran Sy Ha couldn’t contain his joy when witnessing the changes brought about by the light system: “The gift from BAC A BANK and VSF to the school’s teachers and students is very meaningful. Not only does electricity make it easier for us to teach and study, but it also ensures the safety of our students at night. Before this, we were always worried when students woke up and went to the toilet at night.”
With a total worth of VND60 million, the gift hopes to light up new dreams and bring brighter colors to the journey to knowledge of teachers and students from schools in mountainous and border areas of Nghe An province.
