Honor and Awards Ceremony for Bac A Bank's volunteer team who participated in school construction in Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province

In the warm and friendly atmosphere of the ceremony, Mr. Doan Van Tuan, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Director of the Planning Department of the Finance Division shared about the busy work of union members - bank staff. Meanwhile, it requires a lot of time and expertise in order to carry out the funding mobilization and implementation and supervision of the civil constructions. It is pleased that in this cooperative project between the Youth Union and For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), VSF has mobilized the professional contribution of IMC and IPM companies, community, and funding from the locality, which shows the value and high sense of socialization of the construction. 

Previously, on January 29, 2021, in Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province, 14 volunteers who are members of BAC A BANK directly participated in the groundbreaking of Ban Chang school site in Quang Ngan preschool, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang. After the groundbreaking ceremony and giving gifts to students, the volunteers and the locals dug the foundation, transported materials and built the foundation of two classrooms.

With the amount of 250 million raised by the Youth Union and staff of Bac A Bank, under the coordination and mobilization of VSF and Nong thon Ngay nay Newspaper, the People's Committee of Vi Xuyen District has given more 250 million to have enough budget to build a solid school site that can be used for a long time.

Regarding activities in the future of the Youth Union of Bac A Bank, Mr. Tuan said: "The Youth Union of Bac A Bank is continuing to raise funds for the next project, and wishes to accompany VSF in the long-term."

“VSF really welcomes the community-oriented activities and programs of the Youth Union of BAC A BANK. VSF is willing to cooperate and support these meaningful activities as much as possible in the future,” said Ms. Tran Thi Nhu Trang, Director of VSF.
