“Mua nang Pac Miau" - Bringing sunshine to Cao Bang

This is an annual activity to encourage ethnic minority students on their journey to school. This year, the project took place at the end of the school year 2022-2023. With the participation of 22 volunteers who are sponsors and individuals, they show such dedicated interest in the project.

Surpassing a dangerous 400km ride, the volunteers finally arrived at Bao Lam. This commune is considered as the toughest destination of Cao Bang province.

195 subsidies were thoughtfully wrapped and sent to students of Thach Lam kindergarten (Khau Noong and Na O) and Thai Son kindergarten (Ban La, Sang Xoay và Khau De). Each subsidy contains 1 school bag, 1 umbrella and treats.

With the help from 44 individual contributors and organizations, VSF has successfully raised funds for 195 subsidies and called for more than 100 toys for children in the highlands.

Offered the subsidies, Miss Nguyen Thi Chang - Vice Principal of Thai Son Kindergarten, Ban La commune had shown her appreciation, “I am very grateful for VSF and the volunteers for visiting and giving us presents in person. This is truly a big ​​endorsement to our teachers and students. Those boarding meals have fulfilled our students over the past few years. And these presents, too, are a great push for them to continue their learning experience.”

Other than volunteers participating in the field trip, there were also young contributors. For them, this was a great opportunity to connect and experience the positive change within the whole year since their sponsorships.
