Nearly 400 people with meritorious service to the revolution in difficult circumstances, female police officers and soldiers, and their relatives received free reproductive health check-ups, cervical cancer screening, medical consultations, and medications as part of the program “Free reproductive health consultation, cervical cancer screening, medicine distribution, and gift giving for policy beneficiaries” over the past weekend.

With their expertise and specialized skills, doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff from the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology (NHOG) directly provided:

  • 800 gynecological and general medical examinations
  • 200 cervical cancer PAP screening tests

This was not just a routine health care activity but also made an important contribution to raising awareness, promoting early screening for dangerous diseases, and protecting the right to comprehensive health care for Vietnamese women.

This activity is part of the 2025 “For mother and baby – For Vietnamese stature” project organized by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), in collaboration with TH Group, BAC A BANK, and NHOG. Within the program framework, the organizers also donated 25 gifts worth a total of 150 million VND to policy beneficiary families in Kim Lien commune, Nghe An province.

“This humanitarian trip not only brings quality medical services, but is also a sincere expression of gratitude to those who have dedicated themselves quietly to the country. We hope these small gifts and practical actions will help spread compassion and strengthen bonds of love,” shared Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hoai Chuong, Deputy Director of the NHOG, on behalf of the participating units.

Earlier, in April 2025, the project carried out reproductive health consultations and free medicine distribution for 400 women of reproductive age in Ngoc My commune, Hanoi.

According to plan, the project will continue to implement a variety of activities throughout 2025, such as: medical examinations for policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged people, support for treatment costs for disadvantaged patients, reproductive health counseling for workers in industrial zones, youth and students in secondary schools and universities, as well as providing meal donations to patients, among others.
