Plastic Talk - Organizer Introduction - Centre for Supporting Green Development (GreenHub)

GreenHub was founded by a group of like-minded female leaders with extensive experience in building and managing projects for community development, biodiversity conservation, climate change response, capacity building and policy advocacy.

With the mission of connecting communities and resources to embrace green lifestyle practices, sustainable production and natural conservation, GreenHub always acts with philosophy: Human and nature are an organically united whole. Protecting the environment indeed means securing human life. An individual, an organization, a community or a country that wants to pursue sustainable development needs to connect, cooperate and create a life that conforms to and harmonizes with nature.

Always taking the community as the center, GreenHub has made great progress since establishing and has built close relationships with domestic, international organizations and stakeholders jointly building and developing more sustainable solutions for Vietnam.

The project “Local Solutions for Plastic Pollution” (LSPP) received the fund up to USD 1.6 million from USAID, implemented in: Hanoi, Da Nang and Hoi An (Quang Nam) with the goal of reducing plastic pollution through local actions, mobilizing the participation of stakeholders (2020-2023).

The contest "Plastic Talk" is one of the efforts of the project and partners to find more creative communication products to effectively reach the community, contributing to changing the habits of consuming single-use plastic products, for a greener Vietnam.
