Positive changes in Ly - a victim of sexual abuse

In the past year, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation has maintained connection and updated the latest information on the situation of Ly - a victim of sexual abuse who has been sponsored since March 2023.

Thanks to the monthly sponsorship, Ly and her family have improved, ensuring she can attend school with all the necessary supplies and without worrying about tuition fees. This has stabilized her mental state, allowing her to become more mature, confident, and comfortable communicating with her teachers and friends.

Furthermore, the Quang Binh Provincial Women's Union and the Quang Trach District Women's Union have closely coordinated with the school and local authorities to prevent discrimination against Ly, helping her better integrate. The "Mother Support" model from the District Women's Union has provided psychological support to both Ly and her family, continuously encouraging and advising them throughout this period.

To achieve such positive changes for Ly, the support of the community has played a crucial role. We sincerely thank the sponsors and organizations that have accompanied VSF in supporting Ly over the past period.

Previously, since January 2021, the Project "Scarlet Sails" sponsored Chi - a 12- year-old girl who was sexually abused by a school security guard. So far, the project has sponsored 2 children who are victims of sexual abuse and 6 children in difficult circumstances. Hopefully, with this timely support, they will have more motivation to study and continue writing their unfinished dreams.
