Raising fund for 1.095 days of living expense for an disadvantaged child in Quang Ninh

Living expense of P.T.D and his grandfather relies on a small pension.

# Fundraising goals:

From May 14 to June 14, 2019, VSF expects to raise an amount of VND 36,000,000. This amount will be awarded to P.T.D VND 1,000,000 each month within 3 years, equivalent to 1,095 days. # Fundraising story:

P.T.D is a 7-year-old boy, in grade 2, living in Quang Ninh province with his grandfather (82 years old). As informed by Women’s Union in Quang Ninh province, in 2014, when D. was 2 years old, his father suffered from a mental illness, resulting in mental instability, his mother took him to grandparents and disappeared without leaving a trace. After that, the mental illness of D.’s father became worse, he left the house and wandered unknowingly.

In 2016, the maternal side brought D. to his paternal side. Since then, D. has been raised by his paternal grandfather, who is too old to work. The small pension of VND 350,000 a month from elderly allowance is difficult to meet their need.
