Speeding up the renovation processing of Y Nhan school site - Dong Tho 2 Secondary School (Tuyen Quang province)

The renovation project of Y Nhan school site, belonging to Dong Tho 2 Secondary School 2 (Dong Tho village, Son Duong town, Tuyen Quang province) is sponsored by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation, with the coordination of “Nong Thon Ngay Nay”/ “Dan Viet” newspaper, is speeding up the progress in order to complete and hand over in 2021.

The items of this renovation include three classrooms and one playground, with a total investment of VND430 million. When completed, this new school will be a spacious and safe learning place for 72 students in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades.

Located 4km away from the main school site, Y Nhan school site has become degraded after being used for a long time without regular repairing due to lack of funds. People in Y Nhan village, where the school is located, principally rely on agriculture, so they lead a very difficult life. Over 50% of households here are poor; most of them belong to the Cao Lan, Dao and Tay ethnic minorities.
