On November 1, about 3,000 households in Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Thanh Commune, Phuoc Son District, Quang Nam Province, who were isolated for days because of flood, were eventually supplied with food by Quang Nam Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Food and necessities were transported by air by the 930 Regiment of 372 Air Force Division. During this donation campaign, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, represented by the Youth Newspaper, contributed 100 cartons of TH True Water and 50 carton of TH True Milk to the people living here.
The sponsored items were handed over to the people here by a rescue helicopter flight, to avoid unfortunate incidents and ensure quality. Under the circumstance of severe landslides that made transportation extremely difficult, residents in Phuoc Son, Quang Nam have had to share leftover potatoes for many days after the fierce flood. In particular, people have to consume the polluted water source since the whole clean water system is completely damaged. Supplies of clean water, food and nutritious milk during this time are essential.
VSF and Bac A Bank hope that this donation campaign will partly support the residents in Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Thanh Communes to stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
