“Growing up with mountainous preschool students” is a big and long-term project of For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) launched from 2020, aiming to sponsor semi-boarding meals and improve learning conditions for preschool students in difficult areas across the country.
Despite traveling over 500 kilometers from Hanoi to Cao Bang and spending 4 hours over 30-kilometer uneven terrain, with the enthusiasm and dedication of the volunteers, 188 gift packs were handed out to the children at 5 school sites in Bao Lam district, Cao Bang province at the closing ceremony of the 2021-2022 school year.
It is the volunteers who directly took part in the gift packaging process, organized fun activities, and supported the preparation of semi-boarding meals for students on that day. These activities contributed to making positive changes, encouraged ethnic minority students to overcome the difficulty of the mountainous way to school, and brought joy to hundreds of students at 5 school sites.
The cooperation and companionship of the sponsors and volunteers have contributed significantly to the success of project “Growing up with mountainous preschool students.”
Let’s take a look back on this meaningful trip in the news of “For Vietnamese Stature Foundation” broadcast on VTV1 in the evening of May 30.
